Jeanine Edington
Jeanine
Edington truly feels she has the best of all worlds out in Southampton
where she lives. Originally a Kentucky farm girl, Jeanine loves the
open space and natural beauty of the East End; yet she’s equally
enthralled with having the ocean virtually at her door. Having traveled
the world, Jeanine is even more intrigued by the vibrant international
community her current hometown offers.
An art major at Georgetown College in Kentucky, Jeanine entered the
real estate business in 1983 after time spent raising her family.
She became extremely successful in the field as owner of a prominent
real estate franchise then as owner of her own independent firm selling
homes in Kentucky and southern Indiana. In the late 1990s, Jeanine
was privileged to receive the Hall of Fame award from industry icon
Mike Ferry, the #1 educator and trainer of real estate agents in North
America, and her personal coach of 10 years. What’s more, in
her last three years before moving to New York in 2000, Jeanine was
responsible for selling an incredible 125 homes per year.
While Jeanine initially split her time between Southampton and Manhattan,
she decided to purchase a home in the Hamptons and root herself in
the community full time. She continues to apply her impressive expertise
within this unique New York market, and to further the respected reputation
for service, dedication and integrity for which she has long been
known. Jeanine is an enthusiastic, energetic and intuitive professional
who really cares about her clients, is responsive to their needs,
and is committed to making the real estate process as seamless as
possible.
When time outside of work allows, Jeanine can be
found at the Sag Harbor Gym lifting weights, doing yoga and other forms
of exercise. She is actively involved in her community and enjoys an
extensive social network. Other favorite interests include playing piano
and playing with her adorable Bichon Frise.
